Dr. Ernest C.T. Chew is an Elder of Bethesda (Frankel Estate) Church, and serves on the Board of several Christian organizations. After an academic career at NUS (where he was Head of the History Department and Dean of Arts & Social Sciences), he is now a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies.

Dr. Lawrence Chia is currently Chairman of the EFOS Council and ExCo Member of Asia Evangelical Alliance, previously Evangelical Fellowship of Asia. He has been with EFOS from the very beginning in 1980.
